For over 28 years, MPS has been committed to making the floriculture sector more sustainable. The basis for all of this and for our growers is MPS-ABC, which has existed, in various forms, for quite some time. Since the world around us and the environment we live in are changing and the social debate on sustainability is getting louder and louder, we sometimes re-evaluate the MPS-ABC record-keeping system. We also do this to keep delivering the best possible support for our growers, and this way MPS can ensure a future-proof monitoring tool and a certificate that reflects current standards.
In recent months, we have asked growers, traders and retailers for their critical views on our plans for the future by means of interviews and a survey. We would like to thank everyone who has been willing to provide us with their feedback!
In the next few months, we will work step-by-step on the action points that emerged from this research. We will keep the input of the interviews and survey in mind and inform you of that progress in the future. That way, we will create a new version of MPS-ABC, for and with our stakeholders.
